Weight loss
Dogs carrying extra weight can be more prone to injuries and clinical conditions. Along with the correct diet, hydrotherapy can be used to successfully reduce weight and increase cardiovascular fitness quickly and safely. There are scales on site which can help you track your dog’s weight loss. Measurements are taken regularly and weight is recorded to help us keep track of their progress.
Fun Swims
These sessions are great for dogs that are fit and healthy. Change it up from that walk on land and book in a swim!
This type of session would be perfect to introduce your dog to water to ensure that they can swim too.
We have a selection of toys and treats but please feel free to bring along your dog’s favourite. Owners are encouraged to participate and interact with the session.
Puppy Swims
Over exercise of puppies can be a significant contributor to poor skeletal development and joint related issues later in life. To avoid this, the current recommendation is for puppies to have no more than one minute of structured exercise per week of their lives. It is also advised for puppies to avoid high impact activities such as jumping.
Swimming offers low impact activity which is mentally stimulating and helps to burn off some of that puppy energy in a safe and controlled way without the risk to their delicate joints.
