
Upon confirmation of a booking, you are agreeing to all of the terms and conditions.
Veterinary consent must be given to Canis Aquatic before any swim can take place. Canis Aquatic have the right to cancel bookings if medical conditions are unsuitable for hydrotherapy.
Maximum time spent in the pool is 20 minutes. This is the maximum guidance time advised for dogs to spend in the water. Throughout this time the Hydrotherapist will monitor the vital signs of the dog and ensure that suitable rest periods are provided for the safety and welfare of the dog.
All dogs are the responsibility of the owner and must be on lead and in control at all times.
Please ensure that your dog has not eaten for 2-3 hours prior to swimming. It is also advised not to feed 1-2 hours post swim to avoid sickness.
You are responsible for clearing up after your own dog. Please make sure they have toileted prior to swimming.
Any dog faeces in the pool may incur additional costs due to closure of the pool for cleaning.
You MUST inform they hydrotherapist if your dog is uncomfortable around new people, has a history of biting or reactive behavior to ensure the safety of others.
Flea treatments must not be administered on the day or day before swimming.
Children under the age of 16 years old MUST be accompanied by an adult and will not be allowed to enter the water under any circumstances.
FUN AND FITNESS SESSIONS ONLY. BASED ON 1 ADULT OVER 16 YEARS OLD – You choose to enter the pool at your own risk.
Dogs must not be pushed or thrown into the water.
Cancellations
Please cancel your appointment at least 24 hours before your booked appointment or if your dog has any skin, ear or eye infections.
Please cancel your appointment if your dog is suffering from kennel cough.
We cannot accept dogs who have had recent vomiting or diarrhoea. Dogs must be symptom free for at least 48 hours before swimming can commence.

I understand that participating in a swimming session with my dog there is an element of danger, risk and physical activity to undertake but the premsises is compliant and a qualified hydrotherapist is on hand to make sure all parties are safe whilst in the water.
I agree and promise to accept and assume all the risks existing in this activity. My participation in this activity is purely voluntary and I understand this despite the risks. I understand that I will only undertake this activity as it is within my ability level which I will be able to control.
I confirm that I am in good physical condition and health and free from any injury, medical condition or disease which may be aggravated by participating in this activity. I agree and promise to accept and assume all risks involved in this activity. I recognise that a breach in this term is dangerous or may increase myself to risk of injury.
I acknowledge this activity isn’t available to pregnant women and children under the age of 16 years old .
I acknowledge and agree that i’m responsible for my own safety in the pool and will not enter the pool under the influence of drink or drugs.
I acknowledge that nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to avoid liability on part of Canis Aquatic for personal injury, or death caused by the negligence on wilful act of its unauthorised persons. Should Canis Aquatic or anyone acting on their behalf be required to incur legal fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs. This means that I will pay all those legal costs myself.
The participant consents and agrees to the use of CCTV monitoring for training and health, safety and security purposes.
