Hi, I’m Laura — a qualified Canine Hydrotherapist with a lifelong connection to the water and a huge passion for helping dogs live their best lives.
My career began in aquatics, working for many years as a lifeguard and swimming teacher, before moving into the veterinary sector as a receptionist at an orthopaedic referral hospital. It was here that my love for canine rehabilitation began, leading me to train as a small animal hydrotherapist.
I provide a range of services, from pre /post-surgery rehabilitation and arthritis support to fun and fitness swims, water confidence building, and gentle puppy introductions to swimming.
My special interest lies in canine arthritis. I am a certified Canine Arthritis Management (CAM) Advocate – Level 1 and a member of IRVAP (MIRVAP – ICH). I am continuously updating my CPD to provide the highest standard of care.
In June 2026 I qualified as a Level 2 Usui Reiki Practitioner and I can offer Reiki to humans as well as dogs!

I am also the owner of Olly. A very reactive rescued Border Collie with severe hip osteoarthritis. I understand first-hand the challenges that come with caring for dogs with both physical and behavioural needs. That’s why my clinics are built around a dog-led, fear-free approach, offering a safe, and understanding space for all dogs — especially those who might struggle in more traditional settings.
My aim is to support dogs in the water, empower owners with knowledge, and ensure no one feels alone on their journey.
